Thumbs up

Okay Akunob a friend of mine who lives near by has a TPC module on his turbo. He is v.complimentary about it and runs similar set up to TB993tt so I will keep an open mind. I'll see if I can persuade him to install it in my car for a quick half hour test and will report back.

I just received the Tpc module this afternoon n got it installed immediately, what I can say is the car feel more firm on the ground but don't know why I lost the function of the absorber switch? Last time without the Tpc mobile it was functioning as per normal but after I install the module it no longer has the light anymore?

In general after installation the module is like the car is in sport mode cos when I'm driving in auto gear mode it will drop to 1st gear n now is happening this way so I suspect the module tap into the sport button n nothing else. How can the changing of module affect the gear change??? Or am I missing some info??? I remember seeing somewhere that mention about a few mode that I can switch to about the module? Can someone shine some lights on this? To me is too harsh to use it on the street cos is too stiff on the suspension but maybe good to be on the track.

It should only effect your shock setting. It has 3 modes. Mode 1: light is always on, Mode 2: light blinks twice, Mode 3: light blinks 3 times.

Your sport button should not be effected in anyway, other than that it no longer will turn your PASM to the firm mode.

If by "absorber" switch you are referring to the PASM button, then this now controls the three modes of the DSC module. If functioning properly, press the PASM button to cycle through the modes. The light sequence will indicate which mode you are in (on = 1, two blinks = 2 and three blinks = 3).

The DSC should not affect your gear changes. Hope this helps.

I no longer have the pasm light anymore, keep pressing it but no response. There isn't any light or blink, the car is as hard as a rock now. Is harder than the sport mode on, or maybe the system is faulty? Think of just remove it off.

Send it back to TPC. They will get you another one. Sounds like a faulty unit.

Something is definitely wrong, no blinking light + rock hard = likely a faulty unit.

Swap it out for the original first and make sure it's not a fault with the car.

The first one we read about the poor guy was sent 3 faulty units!!!!!!

I waited 8 years before tuning my turbo. I'll wait a few more years until this product is glitch free

When plugging in the DSC module, it will not affect the Sport function as they are on different circuits. I have never heard of this before and there are several Tiptronic and PDK users out there, so we will be sending you a new module and will let you know of any error codes that we pull from the DSC module that you currently have.
