he makes conflicting statements. Says you need both the oem module AND the STMV1/STMV1-H adapter, but video description says you only need one adapter
That's the correct video, for the 991/Macan wheel it requires both the GPS adapter and the OEM 997.613.289.01 or 997.613.299.01.

not worth $350+$350 of adapters to me. Will be selling my 991.2 multifunction trim pieces when I get it in my hands

I did the swap, it didn't work out to bad.

Wheel (ebay) - £365 in mint condition
Air bag (ebay) - £275
GPS adaptor - £280
Module - £260
Retrim (personal preference) - £160

Total - £1340 or $1700.

It completely updated the interior and i find myself always using the paddles now. Multi function works great too.

You are 100% correct, the rest of the interior has aged well. The steering wheel is the only part that looks awful and the PCM 2.1 in my 997.1TT.
LA Dismantlers should have some more used 997 modules for 1/2 the price.

I have a 997.2 TT (2011) with a heated MF wheel like the one attached.

What exactly do I need to fit a heated 991.2 MF wheel on my car?

OEM 997.613.289.01 or 997.613.299.01 module check your car may already have it.
The part number ending .00 is the older module that will also work.
Programming by PWIS if you by new module. Other devices can enable MF if you buy a used module.

Thanks.

I want to go with the Macan CF wheel, does the CF Macan wheel come with a heated option?

I also want to change the wheel and airbag color to my match my interior (sand beige). Is there a good place that can do that?

Ebay otherwise Suncoast.
Macan wheel will require the GPS Adapter.
I don't think Porsche makes a heated CF wheel.

My OEM 997.2 turbo wheel is CF and its heated.

Also, some of the CF wheel listings I found on ebay say they are heated,

That looks fantastic, who did you use for the re-trim?

It's an informative thread. I'm still confused if I need the steering column module. My car is 2007 987.1 Boxster, manual with non-MF wheel. If I swap in a 991.2 manual non-MF wheel, do I need that module ? I read other posts they just did a direct plug and play for their 987.1 cayman/boxster.

Appreciate any input.
