Xonas are on!
I had the DO88 inlets on my 68s too and wasn't aware of any issue getting them to mate with the Xonas...
Just ordered a set of Brixton Forged RF7 wheels in black with 12 inch wide rears. If the HRE Flowform wheels had been available in 12 inch wide rear I would have gone for them for the HRE name but alas they only go
up to 11 inches wide...
Hope I don't get pummelled with the 20 inchers on front and rear. Thought about leaving the fronts as 19s but finally just said "heck with it" and will try 20s all around. Most of the highways I use are "decent".
I have the replacement led drl lights to swap out when it gets a little warmer in the garage too and hopefully within a month or so the beast will be back on the streets!

Thanks for the input. Can I ask why you went to B16s over the GMG springs?
The dealer called and said my wheels and tires are in!!!! Shoot, I thought it was going to take a month or so, lol. I'll have to dewinterize the car and get it done next sunny day.

My front left shock failed (turned out only to be the PASM wire), so I had to consider new shocks. I guess acceptable given that they’re more than 10yrs old and I occasionally hit the AutoX and HPDE track.
I have the DSC Controller so I wanted to keep the PASM. The options were Stock, B8 (works w lowering springs), B16 coilover and Tractive (supposed to be really good but not cheap).
Based on age and switch out of the shocks, new top mounts would have been in order too. I decided on Tarett camber plates.
So changing from GMG to coilover was shock driven....
Stock – didn’t seem like good value for me.
B8 – incremental performance improvement and moderate cost. Makes sense if not further upgrading suspension.
Tractive – jump in performance improvement and jump in cost. Would work in concert with further suspension upgrades…..but decided against it as I’m not a true track junkie.
B16 – complements further suspension upgrades and selling GMG springs helps subsidize cost. I ended up also getting front LCA’s and rear dog bones.
I think I'm pretty much at my max mod on suspension and engine now.....which is partly to keep things interesting before feeling the need to dive into something newer and way more costly!
Cheers

New shoes for "black cat". Just waiting for the black bolts to come and I will swap out the stock silver ones. More details and pics to come but the short story is that I love them! Pics don't quite do them
justice.
They are 20s...20x9 in front and 20x12 rear. Michelin PS4S tires. I was concerned that the 20s would be harsh but they were far less harsh than my underinflated 19s, lol. I hadn't superinflated them for the winter because i knew they would be replaced so when I drove the car to the tire shop they were down like 6psi and you could feel every bump. The 20s with normal inflation are positively luxurious in comparison. I'm glad I didn't do 19s in front as I had thought about. The look with 20s in front is pretty nice in person even though in pics it looks like just a sliver of rubber.
245-30 and 325-25...I stuck with what others have used which didn't cause problems. The offsets were 45 front and rear so it looks as good as my stock did with spacers but without using spacers.
Thanks P!
Car goes into shop tomorrow for brake change...I can't believe these are the original pads and discs! Obviously I don't use the brakes enough
When I changed my front led drls recently (I'll post in the other thread soon) I noticed there was some fluid stains around the region of the front diff...oh man I hope it's not something BAAAAD...
