PIWIS and Softronic

Need to visit my dealer to get water pump replaced, so, question is - should I revert Softronic to stock flash or is it too much of precaution?

Will dealers PIWIS show automatically I have flashed ECU or is it more complicated to discover and may be safely ignored if I have non-engine related issue?

Or to rephrase the question - is here anybody who had flashed ECU, visited their dealer for minor stuff and got complications because of the flash?

Is your car still under warranty? I'm the paranoid type so I reflash mine when it goes in (since it's so easy)
I don't think I will be as concerned once my warranty runs out

CPO until August 2012. I think.

I never saw proper answer on this topic - what can PIWIS see by default and what it can`t. It is not a big deal to flash it back but I`m just curious about the concept.

Softronic stock or flashed file if the modified program is there the dealer can and will find it if they are looking.

Answered this question for you at the other forum. No, as far as I know the dealer cannot see that the car has been flashed because of the way Softronic is designed. But don't ask us, ask Scott from Softronic to be sure.
