Hi all,

I just had wheel spacers installed in my C2 Coupe and the difference is amazing! Not in the way it drives, in the way it looks. Much beefier, stouter, much more C4 territory.

I was skeptical that 5mm in the front and 18mm in the rear could make such a huge difference...It does.

Highly recommend to people that have a C2 and want it to look more like a C4.

Enjoy!

Steve

Sorry, I am really bad at taking pictures.

But, you will notice a big difference, this I guarantee!

Good luck,

Steve

Am I correct in assuming that if the normal spacer recommendation would be 10mm F and 15mm R, the additional 1/2" (12.5mm) over standard Porsche wheels would suggest nothing F, and maybe 5mm R? Or do they line up the same on the outside, wth the additional width being towards the inside?

I don't know what the offset is for your wheels. If you look at your wheels you can figure out the distance to the edge of the cars body (at the top of the wheel). I thought you bought some spacers? If so just throw them on and see how they look.

The offsets for the Carrera Sports are ET55 and ET67 --front, rear. I left the fronts alone and put an OEM 5mm spacer in the back to push it out just a tad more. Those 11.5s are big !!

IMO, anything more than a 5mm spacer is ( maybe 7mm MAX ) going to push it outside the fender line, especially with 305s. A few pix....

Spacers are a GREAT mod for the money! We've had nothing but huge success and big smiles when installing the RSS spacers on customers' cars here at the shop.

We have many of the sizes in stock. All spacers come with a machined wheel "alignment" post, and some sizes also include extended lug bolts. Feel free to get in touch for pricing/availability.

Thanks. My rears are 315s! Nice pics- what are the details on your set-up? Only 5mm spacer for the rears with 305 tires I assume?

Most standard set-ups, meaning factory wheels can get a 3-7mm spacer in there and you're fine up front and usually a 13-17mm in the rear without issues. Now if you have aftermarket wheels then you need to take into consideration that they will usually lower the off-set in order to bring them out without spacers..... So the factory rule need not apply on to aftermarket wheels, you just need to measure.

Correct, 305s with a 5mm spacer in the rear only.

i also have carrera sports wheels..

IMO, the front look like it can be pushed out a bit.. i was considering 5 or 7 mm in the front..

however, i am very concerned about pebbles being kicked up by the front tires with the wider stance..

thoughts?
