PSE and primary bypass

I have an 09 C4s with PSE. I would like to add a primary bypass for added exhaust tone but I want to retain the function of PSE. I wanted to avoid sprot cats so there is no effect on warranty. Does anyone have any recommendation?

Fabspeed? TUBI? Sharwerks? FVD?

They all have options but am wondering if anyone has done this and if it is worth the added change for roughly 1200 parts nad labor.

thanks

Anil

I am currently waiting on delivery of a fabspeed X pipe and competition Y CF air intake.
I'll let you know.
I too have the PSE.
I've done my research and I feel fabspeed have good quality pipes, sound R&D, and competitive costs
Good LUCK

I don't have PSE but I did get the Fabspeed Xpipe. Great sound with no drone.
Here is a link to the sound:

I also have a 09 C4S with PSE and did install the Fabspeed X pipe.
The sound is great (subjective) I wanted to retain the warranty and improve sound. I installed it myself, took about 45 minutes. Highly recommend it for improved sound. Once above 3700 RPM it really sings.
I live in Minnesota and the car is stored for the winter. Cannot provide a video.

Any noticeable improvement in power/torque throughout the rev range.
Improved real world driveabilitiy...
Thanks

pretty interesting - this .2 DFI car smokes exactly like my C2, partically same exact duration and concentration of smoke from both banks during startup, a nit more from left one than from right but stops almost simultaniously.

It was about 25 deg when I started it up. The smoke is actually water vapor. I didn't want to rev it too high because it was so cold. The sound (to me) is better than the video/sound that was captured on my iphone. I was too lazy to get a real video recorder out.

From a previous comment about performance increase; I could not tell any difference (butt dyno) even though the manufacturer claims some gains. I certainly did not experience any loss in power or low end torque. I purposely bought the xpipe for sound improvement, and I was satisfied with that.

Pretty easy install after removing the tips. My tips require an inside Torx bit socket which you may not have so check. The new xpipe will have a lot more clearance when re-installing.

sport cats

I think I may be leaning towards sport cats instead. Looks like After much discussion the primary muffler has little input.
