Ray are the errors all fixed on the new batch? Are these now plug and play?

If the new lights have had the resistor fix, then you will not be disappointed at all, The lights are top notch & as far as aftermarket goes they are really exceptional in quality. If they didnt fix the issue at the factory yet then ray will supply a fix- plug in resistor)

the car should have come with LED's from factory, There is no doubt in my mind that Ray will be as helpful as anyone could be.

Reading thru the many threads you will get a good idea of how great the lighs are as there have been a number of happy customers.
Good luck and enjoy

Ray can you please confirm if you now have lights that are true plug and play and have been tested with no issues now? I'm interested but want all the bugs worked out first. Also has anyone done a comparison with the OEM look on the my09+?? Are they exactly the same? Also do they now operate like the OEM's as far as operating when the headlights are off or do they require special modification wiring or the special Dectane module ???

Im with you on that i want these lights but not the headaches of errors, cutting spicing bla bla bla i just want to take my fogs off and plug in these if that is the case ill buyem right off the bat. So Ray are these "plug and play?" i dont care if its not day time running lights i dont mind to turn them on manualy. Thanks

this thread answered most of your questions. They are plug and play lights and the quality is top notch. The error was a resistor issue an ray supplied the plug and play resistor so everything works without any problems or codes.

ray will have to let you know if the new batch requires the resistor fix but either way the problems have been sorted out with the plug in resistor fix.

First batch was a few bugs and this is normal, There was never any cutting and splicing

As far as functioning goes, it depends on where you live, Those cars from the US do not have the daytime running lights wired by porsche from factory and they require a dectain module for making the DRL function as day time running lights do.. People in canada have it wired like this from Porsche as its the law over here to have the car running with Daytime running lights.

Most of this has been covered a number of times. Hope this helps. good luck

Is anyone else having issues with the new headlights that match the color of the LEDs? Mine randomly flicker, and will go out. Turning lights off and on always fixes it, but obviously not optimal. Ray has anyone else had issues with the headlights?

Thanks!

no prob carrera997re, Just hoping to help out.

The issue the users above you are having does not have anything to do with the fog lights, when we got our fogs from ray we were given the option to add in brighter 6oook headlight bulbs to match the new DRL/FOG lights as the new fogs and drl are brighter white.

I guess some are having issues with the new bulbs. Many people opt for brighter white HiD bulbs. I have not experienced these HID issues. Couldnt help you with that but I did hear one member having an issue and ray sent him a replacement bulb without a problem.

Ray is great to deal with and he is helpful so im sure any issues will be worked out with a simple email to him. Ive bought a number or things from ROTtec. Good luck.
