Ray - is there an option to replace the full beam bulb also to similar colour ?

What about read number place, interior and front boot light ? Can't remember what your other options were

Cheers, Nick

I love my front LED lights, Ray! No codes yet. Did you mail out resistors to everyone just in case?

Yeah I had that same question Ray. Did you mail out the resistors to everyone or just the ones experiencing issues?

is it my understanding that only those who have errors have had resistors mailed out. I may be wrong. no codes then no need for resistors

Hey guys, is there any downside to installing these plug-in resistors to both lights? Even if the car is only throwing a right side code, wouldn't it be smart to install resistors to both sides to be completely covered?

As people receive these resistors from Ray, please post your results and photos may also be helpful.

Thanks,

Jay

997 Drl problems

Hi, I installed my drl on my 2006 c4s yesterday. Everything work perfectly but in the Right side (driver side) in the fog lamp bar two bulbs remain on all the time. Has anyone with this problem? I assume that these lights are Rottec Drl because I buy from Car Gym is Rottec same pictures. Sorry for my English is my second language.

I received my resistors yesterday. As you recall, I had the right side warning light. Installation was easy once I got the light out, which was a real challenge. I pulled the right side light, installed the resistor, and then checked the lights. I had the polarity wrong, so had to reverse the resistor and then the light worked. Let it idle for about 30 minutes with the light outside the car with no issues. Popped it back in and drove about 15 minutes with no issues. I think I'm fixed!

There was an issue here with two bulbs that remained off all the time. The right side assembly is of poor contruction that yields these problems that are not limited to some bulbs being on, some off, and the very common 'Check Right Side Light' message. Our cars have been blamed for most problems, but I bet these things are just assembled poorly, especially the right assembly.

I wonder if anyone can check if the resistor inside the right assembly is actually working properly. I would not be suprised if it did not and hence us needing the external one...

maybe someone who is having issues with the right light should open it up and take some pics of the inside and test the resistor

maybe the wrong resistor was put in when being assembled
