The fault has to to do with the fog light bulb. You may have to remove the bulb, or switch to another type of bulb. The Rottec's Tail light had the same problem. Do a search on Rottec Tailight, as there was a discussion about this problem. I suspect you may be experiencing the same problem.

The Dectane lights don't have bulbs. Someone reported a similar problem and rechecked all the connections. One was loose.

That's too bad - hope he gets it resolved. Mine have been on for almost a year - no problems. what did mechanic mean by "not function properly"?

If you were really a good buddy you'd reimburse him (lol).

All kidding aside Frank @ Orange Tuning (IMHO) is a straight-shooter and will remedy this situation. I suspect Frank 'lurks' on these forums and certainly doesn't want any bad press. My suggestion is to have your buddy send another email describing as best he can the problem and ask Frank to solve it.

I have both front and rear Dectane LEDs from Frank on my 2005 997S and both sets are performing just fine.

Keep us posted on Frank's response.

I have the ROTtec front fog/DRL and I get an error message - ' check right front light'. It registers and then clears, over and over again as I drive with the annoying chime each time. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I had a terrible experience with Frank at Orange Tuning, they guy NEVER answers emails and I'm not the only one. He's quick to sell you something when as there is a problem he disappears!!!!
