Issue: Clutch pedal loose but only during first inch of travel

I was searching this issue from both google and other Porsche forums to see if I can find exact same issue with solution and I was lucky to find a post from other forum who actually had exact same issue.
I copied some of his issues from other forum
BTW, the one I'm having issue is 07 997.1TT with over 70k miles.

"I notice vibration in the clutch pedal, sometimes, when I go to push the clutch in. From the clutch pedal resting freely, there is about an inch or so of travel or "free space" until you get to where the clutch actually engages."

It just happens for the first inch of travel, it feels like some bolts that hold clutch pedal are loose but during depressing this rattle feel/noise goes away. Have anyone experience this issue?
I'm thinking it may be clutch pedal spring, slave cylinder or clutch pedal link.

have you checked the actual pedal. i have seen that happen with aftermarket pedals. screws on the back rattle loose and pedal feels shaky. once you get to where there is pressure in it - it becomes much less noticeable

Hey Greyson, I heard about your 997..... I hope it gets back on the road soon. And I was surprised about dyno numbers and your 60-130 times, I'm sure it will be back with better times/numbers.

And this 997 is my friend's 997.1TT, I did install IPD plenum, Y pipe and GT3 TB for him a couple of weeks ago but heard there's a chance of FPR line connection issue so I picked it up a couple of days ago and just noticed this clutch pedal issue.

Ah, very cool. It's no big deal. The intake cam issue is just a bad luck type deal. It should be up and running in a couple more weeks. I also took the opportunity to upgrade a few more problematic areas, namely the clutch hydraulics. Should be better than new shortly. Thankfully the GT3 keeps me very entertained as well

Anton Mazur is infamous around these parts
I am from the UK, Marine Parade Webcam, and there are many queer people in my neighborhood. So you may meet very strange cars here, starting with colors and up to design elements. People sometimes add very odd accessories to their cars. I have even seen once a small lady’s car with eyelashes. Can you imagine that? It looked strange to say the least. So it is difficult to surprise me.
