I wanted to take a moment and thank Sam at ByDesign for his AMAZING customer service. I have a fairly stock 997 turbo (AWE exhaust, clutch and flywheel) and with the Cobb stage 2 OTS map it always felt like it wasn't perfect. After following Sam for a couple years on Instagram and the people here who have worked with him I knew that he was the only one I would consider for a protune. Well fast forward to a few days ago and I finally bucked up and got a protune from him. The car is completely different in an amazing way! There is no stumble in the mid-range or huge fall off at the top. He has made the car as perfect as can be with stock injectors and intercoolers. If anyone is debating on getting a custom tune stop debating and just do it, I couldn't be happier!

 

Like I always said Sam is the Man. Glad you got to see that for yourself. Enjoy the new found power.

Sam is the man. I just got done driving my 09 ByDesign stage 4 around all weekend to the lake and back. Still a rocket in this 100+ deg weather.

 

Dang. I was just wondering the other day if he had found a new toy. I do, but I’m going to upgrade the IC system soon so no need to mess with it quite yet. Plus that one base fueling revision fixed the fuel trims.

 

I too am an avid fan and enthusiastic member of the Sambo fan club. I installed 1300 cc injectors form Sam and By Design wrote me a tune. Mutiple revisions later and much patience from Sam , my 07 997tt runs as smoothly on e85 as it did on 93 pump while netting impressive power gains. I can say with unqualified sincerity he is unmatched with his customer service. I will recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, responsive vendor who honestly seems to have his customers in mind. Now for those 68mm vtgs I am lusting after....
