V8V without Nav?

Anyone here order or has a car without the nav? Will there still be a cut out without it, or there is still a pop up screen for other functions but no navigation.

astondude is infamous around these parts
I have not seen an Aston without Nav. Honestly, the nav on the Aston is not great and it's hard to use and I never use it...also no 3D graphics. My car came with the Nav so I didn't have a choice but nothing beats the Garmin for GPS. I don't think there would be a pop-up without the Nav but check with the dealer.

My previous V8 didn't have Sat Nav, for that sole reason - didn't want the lines of the cutout.

No Sat Nav = No cutout, no pop-up screen

The Current Sat Nav is Hard drive based, therefore is quicker & has improved from previous generation. But if you ask me, it's still piece of crap & I never use it, instead always bring my TomTom which is leap years ahead in the interface & display with it's 3D.

There is no cut out...no pop up screen on non nav Astons. Instrument panels are smooth w/o nav. IMHO Aston's nav is overpriced and underperforming.

yes, I am with you on the no nav, much cleaner dash without it. And I rarely use any nav in any car... I like longer route in a sport car ; D. I think every v8 came in with nav unless you spec one. Porsche just went touch screen with the 997.2, it is about time.

Mine doesn't have it. Only disappointment is not having the option to use the monitor for aftermarket stuff. Now if I colud only keep the black piano dust free!

hmm, I never knew it's an option.. but all in all, my experience with the nav so far is $h!tty.. it's a piece of crap that does nothing but confuse you and makes you kuss it out.. I am still trying to give it a bit more time, thinking maybe I am to blame for the wrong turns, but let's see..

So, after market reverse cam aiih?? lol

It's more out of amusement at traffic lights to see the people straining their heads over the steering wheel, trying to figure out what the hell is in front of them. . . .
