Test Drove the V12 Vantage.
I literally just left my test drive. Still amazing. Unreal torque and power. I took a friend who is a multiple Lambo owner for a impartial opinion. He was also impressed with refinement and power. As for the Carbon, the quality is fantastic, just like a Lambo or a Ferrari. If it's a problem, the hood can be painted like the race cars. The other solution is to pick a color like meteorite or Quantum. Then the Carbon fades away. As for the wheels, I like the look and finish. The gray shadowing, works great with dark cars. Once you've driven the car a bit, the exterior carbon and wheels become a bit of an afterthought. If they are the reason that you don't buy this car, you're missing out on the experience of a V12 in a car the size of a boxster. My car is due sometime in November. It's going to be a tough 2 months.

I need to make new friends. ; D, off topics here, but I wouldn’t mind to get into 1/8 scale, costly hobby, but worth every penny.

We'll get our hands on one sooner or later. Hopefully sooner. Some other good news is that the 2010-onwards AM's seem to be using a different type of ECU to the prior cars. This ECU should allow us full write-access, which means that an ECU remap should be able to achieve the kind of gains we see on the 4.3L across the board.
