Nobody know for sure, but the most educated guesses claim that a new Vantage will probably be available for the 2017 model year; so there's still a long way to go.

 

The dealer thought 2016 but dealers typically know less than the public. I think it's safe bet that earliest would be 2016 so if you people are on the market for a Vantage, there is still a year or more till the new MY so buy one and enjoy it

 

To be clear: sometime in calendar year 2016 as a 2017 model year.

 

I think I may have figured out what they are planning at Aston martin for 2017 model year....

The new SLC baby SLS and the new Aston will share the same drivetrain. Front engine, rear transmission... (And unfortunately) 4.0LTT. Both come out around the same time, both use the newest technology. SLC will be front engine rear transmission/transaxle like the SLS, which is coincidentally the same layout as the vantage architecture (both similar aluminum architectures.

It makes perfect business sense. I hope it's the 5.5L V8, but with the aggressive emissions deadlines looming over the next few years they may have to jump straight to TT technology to get the numbers they need.

My guess (hope) is that the Vantage will evolve like the 911's keeping the good points and looks and removing bad points. The interior is in for a major update, so maybe more of a Vanquish look. More acceptable electronics for a car of this class and finally rid of the worthless navigation for a more modern system. Sat in a Tesla last night -they did the electronics right - something more futuristic on that line will foster sales. That's my hope and what would get me out of my 09 and take on payments again.

 

I just found out today that, as of 2011, Aston no longer offers a lifetime activation of satellite radio. It's now only good for 3 years from time of purchase.

Kind of a bummer if I don't get it included with my new car, but the suspicion from my sales manager after several calls to Aston Martin NA is that there is a misprint in the option price sheet and satellite radio is only really included as part of the GT Technology Pack along with cruise control and Bluetooth.

I make that $117,375. I would consider adding 700W premium Audio though (only $1595)

 

You can calculate it from the price list earlier in this thread. It's pretty straightforward. Just add $99,900 to the options. The only extra cost options you listed are: 10-spoke wheels, all the carbon pieces, the piano black trim, Aston wings embroidery and yellow calipers.

 

I agree. Not putting Premium Audio on an Aston should be sacrilege.

What is the gaz guzzler tax and the destination fee for the Vantage GT?

(FYI, luxury tax on cars has been phased out)

 

I believe GG is 1700 and Freight 2825

 

Satellite Radio has been removed from the GT options list. Only available as part of the GT Technology Pack.

 

It seems as the GT is the new name of the N430 and nothing more… Am i missing something?
