2015 V8 Vantage GT
From what I understand, it is possible but might cost more than the normal options list. One of the reasons for limiting the colours was to streamline production and therefore reduce administrative and organizational costs. If you want to shop outside the 5 colours, I'm sure it can be done but there will probably be a surcharge over and above the listed options cost, because those options are priced for the non-GT cars.
Also, limiting the colors available (with the interior leather for example) allows them to order from their suppliers in larger quantities and at lower prices which helps reduce their build costs. Going outside the option limitations is potentially doable but then goes back to the non-GT pricing/discounts.

You're wrong. And how do YOU "know" what cars are on the assembly line, plus "looking at the options list". I've added it all up.
There is NO Carbon Black package that is offered for a Vantage V8S as an option. My attempt was to build a car that is as close as possible to "blacked" out. The only way to get a Carbon Black V8S would be to go through the Q program, which is grossly overpriced for what you're getting.

You do know that Stuart at V Vollection and Stuart at Velocity are the same person, right?

and to understand the situationYou're right, there isn't a Carbon Black package for the GT and you would have to go through 'Q' to get it. I was just looking at the existing options list for a GT, and for example if you load it up with all the stuff that comes with a loaded 'S', that is $37K + $99,900 Base with Premium Audio. $44K if you go with B&O.
So your car has more or less all of the stuff that's listed above, which would be $137K on a V8GT, plus a whole bunch of stuff (carbon black + interior options) that you can't get on the GT, but you're getting it for less than what the GT would cost without all of that + free delivery right?

My understanding is that alternate colors can only be ordered though Q for the GT and cost substantially more money. At that point, you're better off ordering an S instead. I think they planned this intention all for that reason.
Also, limiting the colors available (with the interior leather for example) allows them to order from their suppliers in larger quantities and at lower prices which helps reduce their build costs. One of them is the real me, and the other one is a painting I keep in the attic.

Sorry, wasn't meant to be exacting I just pulled it together quickly as an example, meant to be broadly accurate.

@terminalac - up to you but would you care to share the full options list & build on what you have ordered? It would make it a lot easier to compare apples to apples.

Yes, I suspect that if we look at his S we will find that you can't spec a GT as nice unless you go through Q and spend stupid money in excess of what he is paying.
Also, is the car already being built? If so, I agree it might be too late.

So you do have to go through Q just to go outside of the 5 GT colors? Is there a price for the premium you have to pay? Sigh..
BTW when you order a car don't you sign a form that says you can cancel at any time and receive a full refund of your deposit?

Quite the opposite, you sign a form that says that the deposit is non-refundable once the order is placed.
