Meanwhile, the spacers. It's good look. Perhaps some 100 spoke, gold plated wheels too.

 

^^^^ Yeah, I took the spacer off after I saw how much it made the wheel stick out. Maybe a 15mm would work, but, 23mm is definitely too wide.

 

K-FM, how about having just the horizontal part of the side skirt yellow? The GT4 negative could be at the back end of that.

 

The horizontal part of the sills was how I first got started with this project, but it was too much. That is why I wound up with my stubby stripe.

 

Remember, the original GT side stripe also continues behind the rear wheel. That might look good on your car too, Karl.

 

^^^^ Yeah, I never really liked how the GT stripe ended in the middle of nowhere in the front and rear bumpers. Plus, I didn't want mine to be a replica of something that could be ordered with any other car. The stubby stripe remains!

I already liked the stubby stripe, but the more I look at it the more I appreciate it.

 

With all this talk about the stripe no one noticed that I also blacked out the taillight trim panels or that I made a custom license plate for the car as well

 

I noticed the blacked-out tail light trim, didn't know you did it - looks awesome! But that plate doesn't seem like it came from the DMV lol

 

Funny, but between the time I ordered my car and when the GT/N430 was introduced, I asked my salesman to contact Aston to have them paint the rear diffuser blade of my car yellow.

I love the look of just that part being in yellow which plays on the yellow brake calipers.

The stubby GT4 on the side of the car is just enough (IMHO, of course). There's a lot to be said about quiet elegance.
