Vantage V12 lowring springs?

Hey guys,

So I finally got my pop to cheat on his love for corvettes. He picked up a 2012 Vantage V12 (6 speed) and I wanted to purchase him some 20" monoblocks and lowering springs.

I've seen other V12 owners have H&R springs, but I cant locate them. Can someone please steer me in the right direction.

Not aware of any lowering springs made specifically for the V12V, including H&R. Even if you can find a proper set matched to the car, I suspect you will get a worse ride / handling balance, particularly if you go with 20s. Apart from a slightly excessive fender gap, the suspension and wheel sizes on these cars are pretty much perfect IMO.

Jason, I saw your comment on my Instagram.

Please see the following thread regarding my H&R plus custom spring perch setup, in addition to the details on my HRE wheels.

Btw, the ride quality and handling is not any worse. The stiffer setup gives a more sportier feels which is subjective to each driver.

^^^^ I don't think I've ever seen a better stanced Vantage than this one. I love seeing pictures of it.

Interesting. The setup is "stiffer" but the ride quality is "not any worse". Huh? As you say, it must be subjective...

Did H&R make the springs specially for you or are they available as standard?

What I mean by stiffer, but not any worse (for me) is that I enjoy the stiffer ride. I came from a V8VS with a quicker steering rack and the stiffer suspension feels sporter and tighter overall due to the lower center of gravity. The majority of my cars have had modified/changed out suspension, and I'm always stiffer (dampening) than stock. User preference, of course.

My springs are for a V8V (used on my V8VS) and the perches that sit on the shock body collar (to raise the suspension due to V12V weight), are custom made from billet aluminum.

I have some lowering springs coming out for the V8V, would love to do some for the V12. Email me - Stuart@VelocityAP.com and we can chat
