Is that the right plug? I have not gotten that far but we were thinking it was the smaller plug in your picture. IIRC we verified with the wiring diagram in the manual.
Yes - and IIRC the colors don't match from side to side. This is where we are thinking of cutting the plug re-attaching to original seat for safe keeping and soldering directly and heat shrink it.
Got it, I’m going to see if I can clear the airbag code later and hold the resister to the prongs to ensure that it works. If it does I like your approach. Will let you know what I find
Indeed you are correct splicing those wires and attaching the resister kept the airbag light from coming back on after I cleared it today. I also put a resistor in the other plug (two wire) to eliminate the seatbelt code on scanner.
I have been concerned with the bending stiffness of the cross bar so we blasted it and triangulated it. It feels great and I am confident it will do it's job. Sadly, if it has to do it's job, the car will be a crumpled mess

chr-my setup is significantly less involved than yours! Seats arrive Tuesday. Just received notification from shipping company that “package was damaged at arrival to the states and repackaged”. Hoping it didn’t affect the seats 🤞
Well it is going to get a little more complicated for you. When you get the seats the first thing you should do is unpack the seat risers and slides. Place the risers in in the car at the chassis mounting points. Place the risers on top. Pretty sure you'll see the complication. The sliders are too short to pick up both mounting points in the chassis. There is an extra hole in the riser and we are under the assumption a riv-nut needs to be added to the chassis. This will allow the slide to pick up two points in the chassis. Maybe I have it wrong - will be interested in your interpretation.
I hope to try to mount the seat this week. I'll post up some pictures,
Cobra does a good job of internally packing - unless there was a sharp object puncture you should be good. Hopefully just the card board box was damaged in some way.

I will take a look and see what I come up with this week. Have you phoned cobra? I know others in England have installed so would assume they should have correct. Will let you know what I see and can reach out if needed.
Good to hear on packaging! I am hopeful it’s just the packaging as well, would be a huge bummer otherwise.

That looks quite sturdy.
Also, from my understanding the anti submarine belts only see a fraction of the forces of lap & shoulder belts in a crash.
