2006 db9

why does the fan in the trunk remain on? what is the purpose of the fan? I individually removed each fuse in the trunk fuse box and the fan stays on! It's probably the reason I needed another battery. Please help, thanks

Audio amplifier fan, you can try taking the T-30 Torx screws off the carpet panel for access to the inline fuses and connections at the amplifier.

how can I obtain a wiring diagram for the Linn amplifier in my '06 DB9? I'm thinking a faulty relay or switch is not shutting the fan off. Thanks

It's a timer vs temp built into the unit, it eventually turns off. If it still running after an extended period then it's an amplifier problem.

I have the Linn 950W system on my '04 DB9 and the fan takes sometimes ages (as in an hour or so) to turn-off. It will turn off eventually

Mine behaves the same as sdekoning's. You DO use a battery tender, right? My CTEK gets plugged in the moment my DB9 returns to my garage...
By the way, Fuse F65 in the CABIN fuse box is described as "5 Amp – Media play / Multi media module and display / Antenna amplifiers / Audio amplifier." It's clearly not the main amplifier fuse, but part of the control circuit.

My "05 DB9 does the same thing. Never timed it but it does eventually stop. I leave the hood and trunk open after a drive. I can hear the fan.
