DB9 Brake Pads

Hi, All. Well, it's time to replace my 2006 DB9 pads. I haven't heard about many new options, so I'm leaning toward the Porterfield R4-S pads. However, I saw that someone on this site recommended Akebono EU1129 pads for the Vantage.
Akebono's site doesn't list Aston on their selector tool. Does anyone have any experience with them and know the right part number for the DB9?
Thanks!

Eu1129

I'm running the EU1129 pads on my 2009 V8 Vantage right now and love them. The Brembo brake calipers are not exclusive to AM and are used on other vehicles so the brake pads are the same.

my 2007 vantage OEM brake pads squealed and the dust was more than excessive . i bought some of these on ebay. they don't squeal and there is very little brake dust. been using them for about two years now without complaint.

I don't have any squeal with stock '09 brakes. Who is the pad OEM?

Pagid. Stopping at lights mine squeal like an operatic pig driving an old garbage truck.

I didn’t listen to advice and got EBC red stuff after a great experience on my BMW 640i. What a mistake. Get the porterfields and be done.

I put Porterfield on my 2009 DB9. Great pads. Minimal brake dust. Night and day difference between them and the OEM.

I did end up going with the Porterfields. Silent and clean right from the start!
