If you say straight pipes don't have any, you need to step away from the kool aid.

Let's see - straight pipes are good for high HP cars - well DUH - not new or useful information
Customer buys wrong exhaust and blows out the cats with bad tuning - another useless post and another DUH as my daughter would say.
And no other point that I can see in this thread outside of libel on a vendor.

I really Wish the owner of the car would Chime in and set the record straight for everyone. I have heard 2nd hand that the owner wanted a Very quiet And i emphasize QUIET 500whp car. Not going above 1.1 bar and on 93 octane fuel.
Heck i would have just done a Modified stock exhaust or left it alone.
Mike your correct and im sure Mark has addressed that issue. Weather the cats are $50.00 - $800.00 things happen and Markski came go on it. Funny thing i Sent a response to the Blog poster and i guess he didn't want to respond

that much i figured. sooooo you have no data to contribute for fear of making your exhuast less perfect
