Dipped Beam Failed

Hello

I was warned by my 2004 Continental GT that I had a bulb failure which turns out to be the driver side dipped beam. Assuming the bulbs are 'as originally supplied' can anyone offer any guidance/photos for replacing the bulb (if it is a bulb failure)?

Thank you.

Chris

As I recall, on the 2004 it is a challenge. Tintin, the good news is that you are in the UK and there are some very good dealers and independents that can easily get this properly sorted.

In a very Bentley way the headlight was fine this morning. I had a warning message and checked the beam myself to confirm the bulb was not glowing yesterday!

Possibly a temporary reprieve but still I would very much like to hear from anyone who has attempted (successfully or not) to replace the headlight bulbs to see what the procedure is and any advice they may have from experience.

bentleytech, can you send me details of your company and background it may be very helpful.

I love the comment "In a very Bentley way" !
I get a dash warning very loudly about once a week telling me the rear strip stoplight is out. But it works 95% of the time, so hard to justify $1, 000+ to replace.
But I still love the beast.

Hi Digger11

I think it is part of the hand built charm.

These cars have a soul.

U guys hv been drinking the same cool aid haha

It's most likely a bad ballast. Xenon bulbs lasts a long time. Ballast don't.
