Hmm. . . interesting. Don't know how much of this info is factual. BMW should've gave him the boot after the 7-series redesign. IMHO, the 6-series is a total disaster in the making!

While I'm not fond of the new 3, 7, or Z-series, the man is responsible for both the E46 M3 and E39 M5 which deserves some applause.

No he isn't. He is not at all responsible for the M5 or M3. These designs date back to whoever penned the original E39 and E46 designs not that moron Bangle. Bangle is responsible for the Z8, and then that masterpiece 7

Well, from what I can gather on the BMW boards, Bangle has been promoted to head of design for the entire brand of cars (Mini, BMW, RR). The man who designed the Z4 is now going to become the head designer for BMW (not much of an upgrade IMHO). I think Bangle did have some impact on the E46, but he was not involved with the E39 as far as I know.

I was pretty certain he had invlovement with the E46 and E39 but I'm sure you guys would know better than I do. Either way, good riddance I say. Cheers, WMP
