pdcc
Hi guys,
I'm really considering an 08 Cayenne turbo, and i was wondering is the pdcc necessary, is it going to hurt resale value not having it?? Another concern is i thought the 08 is second generation, but from what im reading in this forum the 08 is a refresh and second generation releases within th next two years

i know its less, a lot less, very very much less.
I dont know how else to say this but ... its worth the money to get this.

It's not not that is "no lean", it's just the amount of lean is substantially reduced. Limiting the amount of weight shifting obviously helps in keeping grip equally distributed, etc.

PDCC is awesome. I could not believe how well the CTT corners with it. It also gives it real offroad capability. PDCC is an electronically adjustable sway bar system

it is more than worth it; don't order without the PDCC.
the first time you take it through an on ramp you will be amazed with the stability of the car. it is also always on, so even if you have the PASM on comfort, the PDCC keeps you flat.

I'm very intrigued by PDCC, but haven't been able to drive a Cayenne with PDCC installed. Has anyone driven one w/ and w/out?
It would seem that the PDCC equipped cars would be even worse on tire wear than the non-PDCC cars- With the body unable to lean in response to cornering forces all that body inertia is sent directly to the tire sidewall and, in turn, tire surface.

If you don't get PDCC, you might as well get a used '06 Turbo S that has already taken the depreciation hit. IMO, that is one of the only reasons to get an '08 CTT is for the PDCC.

For those interested in the base and S model Cayennes- PDCC is available as an option on ALL Cayenne models.
