Anyone have issues with brake squeal at low speed stops and low speed take-offs?

i have this issue, brought it in, nothing happened. Ended up with a TSB in my car saying that squeaking brakes on Porsches are part of the normal operation. Nothing that you can do other than warm washing the disks more often...

if your calips are holding and not releasing from a stop and that's why you are getting the squeal, that should be replaced as mine will be under warranty no questions asked.

If it';s just squeaking when stopping, that's normal and no worries.
high performance breaks = lots of break dust and occasional squeaking.

 

Sometimes you get shops who won't replace the shims and if they re-used the old ones they could come loose causing some chatter in place....
