One month out of warranty, the horn on my Cayenne S stopped working. I can hear a clicking noise when push for the horn on the steering wheel, but no horn. I checked the fuse and it's okay. I see that there are 2 horns in front of the front wheel well, anyone know whether there's a relay for the horn? If so, where is it located? If I need to replace the horn, anyone has upgraded to a louder horn? Thanks for any info.

 

the exact same thing happened to me twice, they replaced both horns. They said it's due to extreme cold weather, but I wonder what they're going to say to you since you're in texas

 

Mine sticks every once in a while. Thank goodness for the new P- CPO program...

 

Kinda weird both horns failed at the same time. I'll probably just order 2 new oem horns. Just want to see if there's a relay for the horn that might have gone bad.

My "honk" did that too this winter, covered by the stealer no charge.

 

Same thing happend to me. The dealer replaced them.they told me its a desing flaw (they get wet since they are low behind the front bumper).
