Problem please help

Hi,
i bought my 04 Cayenne turbo about a month ago with 40K miles on it . The steering wheel is shaking very bad and i couldn't find out what is the problem. any thought please help. thank you

sounds like you have a bad tire!! That would be the first thing I would have checked, any local tire shop can check that out for you.

wheel bearing... bad tires... bolts on wheel not tight... etc

i already did the wheel balance , aligement but still have the same problem...

If you jack the car up do you have camber caster play? Movement in the wheel that's not suppose to be there is what I'm asking.

Any issues with the air suspension? Can you raise and lower the car just fine?

You said you had a wheel balance but did they rotate?

Was it two different shops that did the balance and then the alignment?

Hi,
yes, they did rotate the wheels. i just check with the tech today and they told me that it might be the drive shaft problem. is it true ?

There are plenty of early Cayennes out there that have had the drive shaft replaced. Seems like a real defect without a factory recall.

My 2004 Cayenne Turbo had the driveshaft replaced by the previous owner at fewer than 40k miles

Need more info does it idle rough with the steering wheel shake is so probably ignition pencil coils!!!
