Its quite substantive if you have been around for awhile, and see the revolutionary stuff that was somewhat lost in this thread, now quit trying to get your quote rep up

 

Please do not resort to name calling just because someone questioned why you would open a seven year old thread instead of starting a new one

 

Chuck, thanks for saying what I was thinking. Yes, I am new to this forum, having just sold my second Mercedes R500 and bought an '09 GTS, but I have had many P cars in the last 30 years [wish that I still had even one of the 356's and 911's that I sold to buy the next great car] . My post was not 'trolling' at all but if cordsig79 took it that way, it is unfortunate. As you pointed out, I was merely stating that there has been no post on the thread for seven years [!]. Would love to read any new posts on the topic but subscribing to a thread that no one posts to seemed pointless...

 

So if you read correctly the thread was touched by another large contributor to the post RandD world for 955/957.

I simply subscribed to it to keep an eye on the thread........I know to the issue of the intercooler plumbing and pictures have been shared in other threads and now that I see this thread, it's obvious where these historical pictures came from.

Being a fan of this for quite sometime, made me feel that the nature of this thread is OF VALUE.

 

I used to have a white Cayenne. It was fun. Now I have a black one and I'm not going back.
