Sport Chrono can be converted to clock in the settings menu. See Panamera video:

I was told it's not the same as the sport chrono package. I saw a photo in a "dealer memo". It looks exactly like the compass in terms of size and it has a black dial with a brushed metal outer bezel and a digital readout. It looks basically like a digital clock but I didnt probe further about specific functions.

I just call my contact at the dealership and he confirm it will be an analog clock with digital display.

the compass still grabs the most attention.
I have had the Panamera with chrono. It's nice, but never found a need to personally use it. I'd rather see an analog compass than the chrono.

Been emailing back and forth with the dealership, they confirm on the analog clock but still don't have any picture of how it looks like.

Oh! They did not confirm on the lock button on the door panel. Still checking on that conversion.

I think the compass fits in nicely and gives the dash symmetry and a sporty feeling

Has anyone confirmed if this can be added after delivery. I recall someone on the board working with their local dealer

Thats was me. A board vendor provided the part numbers and I took those and a pic (because he didnt know it was an option) to my service adviser when I had my sport exhaust put on. The question was "where does the compass get its power and whats the programming labor?" That was a few weeks ago so I assume he has forgotten about it or me since I didnt purchase from them.

I figure I will follow-up when they need to tear into the vehicle to get my reverse camera going when the parts become available. My thinking is that depending on where the back-up camera module needs to go (may be behind the PCM) then we can do the compass then with no additional labor. At the time, he had thought the back-up camera module went in the rear which would defeat my plans. I was also going to address the 500.00 credit at the same time, that being the compass would be a wash if the credit was good for the service department and not just the accessories catalog.
