Would it not be simpler to have a bluetooth clock/compass?

The compass has a 4 pin connector but no wire harness included or apparently in the truck .
I will try to get more info from the dealer next week.

No confirmations yet? The lack of a fixed clock anywhere in the cayenne is my biggest gripe - the time only appears on a few PCM display screens and does not appear on any of the nav screens. My favorite screen settings are the map in the small screen in the cluster and the tuner/xm screen in the main PCM display. In this configuration, there is no time display! Very frustrating.

I have the compass and would gladly change it for an analogue clock.

Very interested to see how you go with this. I have the parts on order and this will save a lot of headaches. If your tech is able to get any photos of the install including the harness etc that would be fantastic !!

How much do the parts cost? I assume there is some sort of discount with the 15% coupon out there. I would love to have a compass / clock mounted on the dash.

Ordered through Suncoast. The parts were around $600 - $700 from memory (don't quote me on that as I haven't got the details here with me). Problem is you can order the compass and dash surround with associated screws / fittings etc but there is no harness shown in the parts catalogue to connect it up.

So at this stage I'm trying to find a cayenne that has the compass option installed from the factory and an owner who is prepared to lift the dash cover and trace the harness. I could then find out where it connects up. Porsche only show a full dash harness in the parts list which retails for USD 5k, It will be the world's most expensive compass if I have to go down that road...
