CTT Florida trip
CTT Florida trip
Just arrived in Florida after a 1225 mile trip
For a day and a half
Average73 mph and 19.9 mpg
What an absolute great car for a road trip
ADCis unbelievable option and not only very driver friendly but very kool
This car has so much power it just leaves ordinary cars standing still at highway speeds when power is asked for

On the return trip home 76MPH 19.6 MPG. got a little carried away on thru Virginia and the NJTP.
Absolutely canot make this trip without a good detector. GA, NC and VA, they are everywhere with traps on I 95
Car ran flawless. No oil. Im on 21" Pirelli Ice & Snow, and honestly with the different damper settings cannot feel the difference between the PZero summers. The suspension work on the CTT is amazing. The ADC and LCA are great options for a highway trip. Worth every penny. The diiderence between my 2003-4 CTT and this model is a tribute to the advancements in the industry in the last decade of builds.
Stopped by my dealer last night to get a CTEK charger, since I'm letting the X3 sit at the RR station during winter months, and saw that my turbo S is now PLPROD. Not sure if they have started any builds for the US market, as with my dealer I'm numero uno for their allocations. S will be at LA Auto show which open in a couple days.

Love the details.
Numero uno for new S RAK.
I had the CTEK charger on my SL500 which worked really well.
If you haven't read Larry's tales they are out here for entertainment.

Me as well. A bit of venting.
I opted for AZW extended leather dash option, in order to get extra red stitching on the black dash to match the red stitch that is standard with Black/Carrera Red Int. The info tab on the Build Your Porsche on the AZW option refers to deviated stitch at no extra charge, however actual dealer order system only allows the plug in of AZW with no other data accepted. Dealer sent email to PCNA along with order and was advised all that could be done was to add "comment" that customer wants red stitch. good ol' Porsche and its screwy order system. Can remember numerous times I have seen 911's with deviated stitch option, where the deviated stitch was not carried through on gear lever and console or other areas, due to confusion in option ordering. Porsche has several option codes and extra $$$$ for EACH area of stitching ordered. Ferrari for example stitched the entire interior EVERYWHERE there is stitching possible (even underside of sun visors and back side of CF roll bars)) for $471.00 on my 16M with one option code.
My guess is I'll get AZW in black leather with black stitch...a bummer
