Well i have done it. I bought a MF steering wheel from a crashed 2015 cayenne with the Clockspring and lever unit. Here is the situation, as said before you'll need a new steering wheel, new Clockspring for that MF steering and new lever unit. Your old levers even though that they're the same it just won't work because of different pin connectors location. The main issue is not this, it's on the wiring distribution. The new connector has 16 pins the old 2011-2014 has 12 pins. Cables are the same but the distribution varies. You will need the plastic connector for the 2015 Clockspring which is bigger and the steering turn sensor plug (yellow) if I'm not mistaken with the name.

Don't forget you'll need a PIWIS 3 to reprogram, that's the one used on mine, don't know if the PIWIS 2 will do it. Will post pictures later when done, we're testing some other stuff.

It's cool and fast as heaven... It even connects to the car via Bluetooth through a dongle. Overall work load I think it's reduced a 30% with this new unit because of how fast it responds and communicates.

Also people need to know that they'll have to cut, splice cables. This is not a DIY mod.

Wouldn't it be easier to change the wires in the steering wheel plug? Have Porsche just not changed the sequence. All the controls are identical.

I have a 2015 wheel in my 2012 and only the paddles work, debating what to do next. I have 2015 switch unit to fit but not the clock Spring, sounds like that won't work

doesn't work that way. In my case I got the steering from a crashed cayenne. The Clockspring is already paired to the wheel and lever unit. Not that simple. The magic is on the main connector.
