2015 MF Steering wheel on 2014
SubscribeGtrust,
Not that I couldn't buy a heated wheel, the old wheel was a heated one. I just never used that function. The 2015-16 MF wheel I have is not new, got it for $150 from a crashed 2015 Cayenne with the levers and Clockspring. Sadly the Clockspring did not communicate while programming because it seems that the crash somehow broke something and had to get another one which I got it for free and came from a crashed macan so we just swapped parts. That fixed it for me. I just had to spend $150 on the wheel and 900 on a new airbag on eBay. That was all. I recommend you guys first check if you can get a wheel from a crashed car you'll save a lot.

here, you'll be surprise. A guy bought a 458 and turned it over then got a 991 turbo s cabrio and crashed it the 3rd day.. Lots of lame drivers. No I haven't try yet but I have some pictures I took... Wait let me postOriginally Posted by Serg124
so much crashed new porsches in your country? wow... for schematics - do you try to google for "porsche wds 2015"? ))) will surprise you..
I suggest getting it from the PIWIS unit. I was told that it's printable but my tech does not have it linked to a printer and for the moment he can't provide me the schematics.
Serg again PSM failure but I manage to do a simple test to find out I need to replace my battery
Checked start and is very slow, checked digital display for voltage meter, when on reads 14v that's ok, when turned off reads 12.7 then 2 seconds Kate's 12.4 then it drops a .1 volt every second and stops at 12.2... Turned on all lights, radio etc and checked, dropping to 11.6.. Bad too bad. Lastly I tested how many Volts did the multimeter dropped when starting, 8.4... Bingo!! Bad battery = PSM Failure, Auto Start/Stop Function Disabled.
Getting a new battery on Monday.

I did I saw it. I'm on the iPhone 6speed app, can't download and test Originally Posted by Serg124

That should be enough for other people to DIY. They just gotta be careful.
6speed should fix this app it crashes constantly on the iPhone

OK just got my new steering cable. The mod is now complete. I just need to install this and go get my airbag light resettled. This concludes this thread.

well I'm waiting for the battery to arrive. PIWIS III now shows a PSM error code related to Wheel Sensor which now is the culprit. But I have to change the battery anyways. Never did before and I now have 90,000km on the odometer. The battery costs a lot here, around $760 new from Porsche. I'm told to install an AC Delco or Motorcraft. The only difference will be that the recovery system won't work.Originally Posted by Serg124
how's your battery and PSM?
