Off-road tires

I recently purchased a 11 cayenne s with the 22” turbo 2 wheels. I do a fair bit of upland hunting which often requires driving on poorly maintained dirt roads. I wanted tires with a little more tread depth than the factory 285/35r22 tire options. I found a set I like in 285/45r22 which are almost 2” larger. Saw a photo in a old thread on here that made it seem like they fit. Anyone running that size on a stock cayenne? I’m not above getting a 2” lift if necessary but would prefer not to if I can avoid it.
edited to add. I did find some 275/45r22s that look like they would work as well if I’m less likely to have issues with those

I highly recommend you get 18" wheels . There is not enough sidewall with 22" wheels to resist rocks. 18" wheels will also give you a large selection of all terrain tires to choose from. ` My 2013 with A/T tires

Thankfully I don’t need to worry about rocks. Just slightly rutted dirt roads. But I’m thinking if I want any decent tread I need smaller wheels.

Rutted roads will have rocks and with about an inch or so of side wall it will not take much to rip a soft street tire's sidewall. 18" wheels will solve your problem

South Jersey doesn’t do rocks (any bigger than gravel) lol. But I get the idea. I’ll look into some wheels for hunting season. Used to do a lot of rock crawling up in coal country pa (roush creek and paragon back in the day) so I’m familiar. Been a few years since I did any of that (sold off my crawler). Was more concerned with the road being muddy/traction
