My Detailing Dynamics Experience!!

Had my car detailed for the first time at Detailing Dynamics. I feel compelled to share what an great experience it was. A few things, first, Matt and Eddie are so knowledgeable about detailing and the Clear Bra. This was a good thing because my entire car is wrapped in Venture Shield. While Matt was detailing my car Eddie was putting 3M on a White GT3. After seeing the great job Eddie was doing, I would bring my next car to him to do with 3M because it has a real clear coat and the Venture Shield does not. Unfortunately I did not realize that the Venture could not be polished out like the 3M when I bought it from the dealer. They were nice enough to even touch up my clear bra where it was lifting. Matt very patiently answered all my questions about detailing and showed me how to use their products which are awesome and so easy. I keep reading on this forum about all the complicated steps in detailing a car. Let me tell you, after watching Matt use 2 of his 3 step process (he could not polish because of Venture Shield) on my car I was sold. One product was a pre-cleaner and the other was a sealent. From this alone the car looked better than when it was brand new. The Clear Bra was so smooth and shinny with no claying. Also, Matt showed me how to simply clean my glass perfectly and how to treat my tires without them looking artificially greased up. The work they did was so far superior to dealer prep of the car when it was new. They even have an awesome waiting area while your car is being detailed, not that I spent much time there because I was enjoying watching them work on the car. Matt is so secure in what they do that they are above all the (Which wax is better B.S.?) They just use their own line of stuff that is simple and effective. I felt a little silly after asking him about Zymol after watching him do his thing. They say that the highest art is simplicity, usually masters in their field make what they do look simple. That is because their technique and experience is so good. That is what I had the pleasure of watching last weekend. I drove and hour and 20 min to bring my car to them to detail and look forward to doing it again!

Congrats on getting a TRUE detail by a couple of masters like Matt and Eddie. I've had the pleasure of meeting Matt last year at Pebble Beach and hanging out together. He's a wealth of knowledge and VERY passionate about his work. Eddie delivers the same level of energy and technical know-how as well.

This is what we try and preach to you guys...detailing can be very simple and fun if you have great technique and use products that work. So next time you hear someone explain arduous steps and multiple dozens of products needed keep KISS in mind (Keep It Simple Stupid )

Excellent work as usuall fellas.

Mark,

Thank you for the acknowledgement and kind words. Our enthusiasm for the work feeds off passionate P-car owners like you. It was a fun day and it a true compliment that someone would drive that far just to have us work on your Boxster S. BTW, I still have a buzz from treating your rag top.

Keep her shiny,

Matt

Thanks guys! It was nice and shinny till the pollen got to it during the week

Matt, I am actually going to try using your car wash this weekend at one of Jersey Self Serves. Then finish it off with the Liquid Gloss Detailer. I'll let you know how it goes.

p.s. I checked your site and I found that product you call The S**t (Ultimate Cleanser). I was trying to remember did you use that before Step 2 in place of the polish (step 1).

peace,

Mark

I used the Ultimate Cleaner as the first step before the Brilliance sealant.

Hey Matt,

Finally got to try washing the Boxster by myself with your car wash and liquid gloss. Awesome!!! This is the first soap I ever used that did create any water spots on the car even without DI water. I don't know how it does that but I barely dried it lightly with a towel and it was still spot free. Next my wife and I used the Liquid Gloss spray on the car which brought it right back to the smooth, shinny state it was in when you detailed it. I love feeling the smooth surface. it makes me feel like I spent hours claying the car even though it took me 10 min to use the Instant Detailer. Fun and Easy!

I need to place an order for some of that tire shine, unfortunately you were out of that last week. I missed that after my wash. I'll give you a call later.

Thanks. I think you meant to say that "it did not create any water spots..."

NICE! It's one of my all time favorite cars, & maybe the only Ferrari I would buy ( if I had that kind of disposable income).
