Had this conversation in the parking garage as I was leaving work last night. Thought it was funny

Her: That's a beautiful car!
Me: Thanks - I like it.

Her: There's another woman who has one just like it - parks down here.
Me (knowing for a fact I'm the only Panamera ever on the floor where I park): Hmmm, I think I'm the only one with a Panamera down here

Her: Really? What kind of car is it again? Oh, I think she has a Maserati. It's a beautiful car too. I'm not really a car person.
Me (realizing she means the Ghibli that frequently parks nearby): Oh yeah - I know that car - yes that's a good looking car.

 

Hahaha...well, it seems that even a non-car person can appreciate a good looking automobile...or two.

 

I'm surprised by the number of people who don't realize the Panamera is a Porsche until they are up close. Mine has been called a Jaguar, a Maserati, even a concept car.

I guess that's what happens when there are relatively few in an area. I'm just fine with it!

 

I don't know about you, but I see at least one on the road every single day. Often there's one behind me at an intersection.

 

Depends on where you live. They're quite common in SW FL.

 

I do like my Panamera, but beautiful is not a word I would use to describe it.

 

Good story. I think the Panamera is beautiful especially if you have the right stance. Most of my co-workers think it's the ugliest car until they find out it's mine. The ones that know I own a Panamera make jokes about buying a 4 DOOR Porsche. I still love it.

 

I see them all over, but as someone else said it depends on where you live. The wealthier the town the more expensive the cars.

There is about a 90 year old woman who drives a brand new 4S. Her plate is GOLDY1 LOL.
