PCCB Question

Question on PCCB... I have been doing some rallys and spirited driving recently and after about 10 mins of spirited driving they start squealing a LOT. Wondering if this is normal for PCCB?

I plan on doing a ton more time attack and autocross soon and, although the PCCB perform great, I want to make sure I am not going to damage essentially a 20k set of brakes.

They are fairly new pads (few thousand miles) and fantastic condition discs still. Anyone have experience with this?

Your only solution is:

Take your pccb setup, calipers, rotors, pads, related hardware, and send it to me.
I will send you my brake setup, calipers rotors, pads and related hardware (all brand new, just replaced last week).
That will guarantee no squealing.

My PCCBs have about 32k miles, of which about 7k were done by me and I have never heard a sound from them. I have never used them hard repeatedly to get them very hot however. At a Porsche experience day I have ridden in a 970.2 TTS driven on track by a instructor and I don't remember hearing any noise during the lapping. So I guess not necessarily all PCCBs squeal.

on a track, you will almost never hear brake squeal. car noise, car/helmet, all muffle sounds. Excitement adds to it.
Don worry about any pccb squeal. Normal. If you dont hear squeal, congrats. You have even less to worry about.
