Panamera Engine Mounts Replacement

Hi!

New to the group. Does anyone know where I can get DIY info on changing engine mounts on a 2013 Panamera or where I can find a repair book? Any info will be greatly appreciated! Also any info on parts that are cheaper than the dealership!

What I've read on ALLDATAdiy.com is that you need to remove the ac compressor, raise engine with engine supports, and then remove motor mounts. For parts try fcpeuro, they have lifetime replacement warranty.

As far as I know, replacing the engine mounts is not very DIY. I have not come across anyone who did this DIY. Would be great to have diy for it though.

Panamera motor mounts

Im trying to figure this out too. There is no where to push the engine up. Im not comfortable raising motor off the plastic oil pan.

Use a hoist - do not "push the engine up".

Hi. Have you an idea how i can change the engine mount. I have a v6 rear wheel drive. Can I only take the ac compressor down and the bracket on the drivers side.

sorry I've never done it and I have a V8, you might try messaging Normal Fellow and see if he might have an idea (he did it on his Turbo)

I found this YouTube video of a shop doing it on a lift.

Yea, it's not DIY, but its pretty close. It might not be any where close to the "official" way to do it, but least it shows the steps involved. They do use a jack to push the engine up.
