On friday the 4th, there will be an Alligator Alley Run to the Boca Raton Resort and Spa leaving the Race Track Gas Station at 3:30pm. The gas station is at the old exit 16/new exit 107.

At the end of the run, the hotel will play host to a cocktail party being sponsored by KVP. Saturday, 6SPEEDONLINE.com will be holding a poker run leaving the hotel around 2:00pm.

Sounds like fun and wish I could ride with you guys. I am not planning on going over till Saturday morning.

 

Am I correct in understanding that Aligator Alley goes from the west coast to the east coast on Route 75??

 

You are correct... It includes about 75miles of straight-aways and one really nice S-curve in the middle.

 

The other route is US 41. A scenic two lane ribbon of asphalt running straight through the Everglades. Its a nice change from the interstate with plenty of passing opportunities ... but due to road conditions is not necessarily the safest route. On both routes you do have to be careful when passing through the indian reservations.

 

That is a good point. The police are usually found out in the reservation area and tend to stay away from the innerstate, but like I said, usually.

 

If you plan on attending the run, I am putting together a packet per car. This will include the directions, a map and some other goodies to be determined.

You people need to do the Naples to Orlando "Then" south to Boca run.....You'll have a few more join once in the O-town area ....

You are to funny Rob... 120 miles direct to Boca or 500+miles via Orlando. Perhaps consider passing through Naples.. only add a little distance to your trip and you get to see Alligator Alley.

 

Hmmmmmmm... I would like to make that run some time in the future.....
