Thanks for doing the final bit of "legwork" to provide this info...
Now, to just find that perfect shop to recover these....

Only two weeks remaining for the 1000 cc high impedence injectors to arrive for the killer angel motor.

Chad - why not replace your rods with stronger ones (not necessarily high RPM rods) and while your in there do your crank (knife & all) also?

Zippy, can't imagine needing any more power. The car will be ready to drive early next month. It's not a 3.6, 3.8 or 4.0 motor.

You are not really going to drive it are you? Don't you have some other project in mind? Come on you won't know what to do with that car unless it is in the shop!

Where have you been? Vacation? Glad to have you back!

Buddy,

Killer Angel is very close to being finished. Motor, brakes, suspension and lightening of chassis is almost complete. I still want to do a fuel cell, however until I find some people interested in sharing the prototype development costs, it will have to wait.

The first one would cost about 8K and they would require my car for about one month. After prototype was made, costs would drop to about 3K installed.

hmmmm.... so I guess you and I could split costs?

if we are fronting development costs, i also think we should be entitled to royalties on future sales

Tyson,

There are two ways we could go. Aluminum or Carbon fiber housing. The blatters would be the highest classifications. This would also include new plumbing so existing filler could be used. If you are serious, I am ready to go ahead. Possibly someone else might also be interested.

In respect to rods & crank, II wasn't referring too increase power bu to increase duration and reliability.

Zippy,

S Car Go built it to withstand at 9000 rpm's. We have set the rev limiter for 7600 rpm's. It should have a long life as far a street race motors go. In addition to the crank and rods, the piston thickness between the top and the first ring was designed to handle 1200 hp.

Chad,

I am interested, however, whoever you are using would have the blessing of Roland (Ruf-Racer). His fuel cell is a very nice setup, and I would like something of that quality... Who do you have in mind to do the work?

Prototyping safety equipment always makes me a bit nervous.
