Hey guys

I'm thinking to convert it to RWD..Is really worth it?

Any issues so far?? quicker 60-130??

what about driveline loss %??

I can't give you statistical before and after data, but I have had no problems since converting to RWD. I've put up some good times and I do not have traction issues. The weight savings is a big plus too.

So whats the safest way to do the conversion? Do I have to purchase any type sway bars, do an alignment? What should the cost be around?

Hey Vince,

There are no special parts to buy at all. As far as alignment goes, I realigned and corner balanced when I added the PSS10's, GT3 sway bars and drop links. I'm not sure if you HAVE to realigned just because of the RWD conversion.

Cost just for the RWD conversion should only be related to a couple hours of labor.

how much weight did you save? Is it easy to drift the car?

I want to say the parts weight about 75lbs or so. Haven't tried drifting yet..

You absoltely do NOT want to drift a 996TT/GT2....w/ the rear engine and overall physics of the car you will break axels.

On the other hand my M3 is the PERFECT drift car (only drifted her by accident when coming through a corner hard.....she just held the slide flawlessly until I straightened out).
