991 Turbo or 991 GT3??
For me, GT3. But only because I plan on keeping my 997TT or building my GT-R for more HP then keeping it instead (still deciding). A 991TT would be too similar to my other turbo cars for me to want it, but IMO the GT3 will perfectly complement my other cars. I also don't love the looks of the new turbo, but think the GT3 is the best looking 911 Porsche has ever produced.
Now, if I could only have one, and I planned on using it as a daily or driving it often, 991TT for sure.
With regard to the acceleration comparison that some people have brought up, the 991TT or TTS will crap all over the 991 GT3 in a straight line from any speed, all day long. No comparison.

GT3 for me. Although it would be better if it didn't come with bling 20" wheels and center locking hubs.
I prefer a N/A engine and have no need for AWD.
Both are street cars. The new GT3 will be even more of a street car than the 997 versions were.

After specing my TTS allocation I decided to keep my 997.2 TTS and order a GT3. With a decent list of options I was over $200K. I can't wrap my head around any 911 over $200K, and decided the GT3 offers better value. All the good parts, better looks to my eye, more fun at 9,000 rpm. I think I have the best of both worlds now.
I don't blame Porsche for trying, but I think the TTS over $200,000 is a stretch. It'll be interesting to see how they sell. I got the impression at my dealer that others feel the same way.

They've all turned out well.
It's no Phaeton. lol!
I believe it will come down to - which transmission do you want? And if you prefer the manual, how slow (by comparison) are you willing to go because of it?

I take it that you want in-gear acceleration explanation. In-gear means like in any given gear you are on & travelling between say 50-70mph or 130-150mph. How long it takes to get from 50-70mph in say 3rd gear. Luckily I still have the figures with me as tested by a British Porsche magazine / GTPORSCHE back in 2007. For comparison sake. The 997.1 GT3 takes 3sec to get from 50-70mph in 3rd gear & the 997.1 Turbo takes only 2.1sec. 130-150mph in 6th gear: GT3 takes 9.2sec & the Turbo takes 6.1 sec. Is more of a measurement of the car's overtaking ability.
I don't think it's a surprise that the turbocharged car with more mid-range torque will beat the highly strung car that needs to be revved out in these scenarios. I'm not saying the GT3 will be faster either, just that it'll be closer than these tests would indicate.
GT3 - I think its the driver's car of the entire Porsche lineup (sans new Cayman).
I'm sure TT/TTS nice but GT3 is the pick of the Porsche lot.
Love the looks, performance and all around track/street cred.

I like the GT3 hands down in this comparison but when I try to spec one...even with not many options,..it will be well over 150K easily. Maybe it's just me but once I pass that number it becomes hard not to consider a slightly used Mclaren mp4-12c instead for just under 200k. A different league!
