Porsche PSE

HI Guys,

Been looking in the forum for all the part numbers for the PSE for my 991 C2 , I've seen a thread with some parts but I can't open the picture anyone that might be able to help with parts for the C2, also Im thinking not adding the switch, what parts do I require?

Check with Suncoast Porsche website, they have it for about 3k.

I know they have the kit, but what I need is the part numbers as Im looking only to add the PSE with no switch

Here you go, I have the S also and used my existing tips. Even with the switch the hole thing was about $1500. Worth every penny. Instructions attached. May be different for base.

guys I asked my S.A to get the exhaust installed but without the switch to have the valves open and he mentioned that they might need to zip tie them, anyone heard of this? any info is much appreciated it, if I want to just install and no switch

Your problem is that there is an electronic switch that opens and closes the valve and without using the zip-tie to hold open the valve will not get the sound you are looking for. But the down side which in my opinion is not the down side but the valve will be open 100% of the time,

I believe that the default position on the valves is "on" (open). So, I'm not sure what the zip tie would be used to do.

but if its open, why you have to press the button everytime you want to get it ON,

Good question. Maybe someone with more technical knowledge than me can give you the answer. Possibly because if you just install the muffler and not the electronics it's set up to the open position??

you are right and I'm not 100% sure if from another thread I was reading something similar about the zip ties
