The M3 will feel like a poor attempt to a handling car compared to the GT2 so it doesn't fit anywhere between sportscar or family car... it's in the middle.
C63 will feel like an awesome daily, hearing it wake up every day... (whoa that's better than any coffee). It has class, looks, style and it's a very affordable and enjoyable supercar in disguise with perfect ability to daily drive, also nice for the passengers + still it has fairly near M3 handling so it's still enjoyable when you hit some turns.
GL with choice!

I've had mine for about a year and a half now, and absolutely LOVE it. Suspension is firm but comfortable, handling is amazing for a sedan, and the engine gives such a euphoric exhaust tone.
I just got back from a test drive of a '09 DCT M3 Coupe. I drove a manual a couple of years ago but this my first time driving the new DCT.
Coming from two previous SMG M3s, DCT is a night and day difference over SMG.
The car is really wonderful overall. Tight, comfortable, solid, relatively light-weight feel. Love the redline as well. Not much room in back, but it was a Coupe, not a Sedan.
My only issue with it is that I'm so spoiled with lots of torque that it felt very underpowered. I'm not saying it actually is, but I realize that without a lot of torque, I won't be happy.
I'm still leaning towards on a Cayenne TT, but I need to drive an E63 or C63. Those cars interest me.

When I drove the 2010 M3 with DCT I liked it but thought it was a little laggy with the low torque numbers compared to the AMG 63 engine which has 50% more displacement. For track fun - high HP. For street fun - high TQ. JMHO
