IIRC, about 2hrs for the first one, then an hour and change for the second once you know what you're doing.

Just for comparison here are my log graphs from my 4.5" coolers. 20deg C delta at 1.3bar. Shows how good the 997.2 coolers are for the money! I wish we could see at what power level the 4.5" units would take over.

What kind of 4.5" do you have?

What gear and what ambient temp? I've got a bunch of .2 logs at 1.3 bar with 16gs I'd like to compare.

Heavy,
They're Bell 4.5"

Seems like a good bit of temp gain for both coolers in that short of a pull. Any chance of a boost leak or something?

Here's a 3rd gear .2 cooler log @ 84F:

IATs don't really start moving until 4th/5th.

Regardless, glad the car runs better -always satisfying to knock out a DIY with results!

Hope I don't mess it up!! Otherwise, I'll be paying my mechanic to do it.

About how many hours to get the intercoolers in once you have everything apart already (so just the mod part)?
Keep updated. Id like to hear some more results. Thanks

I guess my responce didn't go through the other day.

I'm not surprised that it cools better. It has a higher internal fin density restricting the air flow to allow better thermal transfer. It's one of the important variables of an intercoolers functionality.

I guess it depends how you plan to use the car. Road racing use where you are not full throttle all the time and don't need max flow, i can see the benifits of better cooling for sure. For street use (short bursts of max power), 1/4 and half mile runs, i see flow being more of a benifit. Turbo size also would also be a factor too. A K16 car would benifit greatly with a 997.2 setup IMO.

New article numbers!

Hi, I'm going to order 997.2 cooler.

But I was informed that the article numbers have changed!

Previous articles numbers were:
99711063970
99711064070

New article number is:
99711063971
99711064071

Suppose that there are similar articles?
Does anyone know if the new Article numbers is as good as the old ones?
