You will need to roll the fenders and trim the fender linings. They will work with some work. A lot easier to install 315s!

GT2 already has rolled rears I think. Still will probably rub if not very careful.

I run 315's on the rear of mine. I think it would be difficult to stuff 335's.

I run 335/30 18 Pirelli Corsas for the street and 335/30 18 R888s for the track.
Both fit the 996 GT2 fine. After a more aggressive wheel alignment the rears will rub less over bumps etc. My car is also lowered about 2cm at the rear.

Mind you, my dealership said that for 12 inch wheels the 335's are a little too wide and although they may give better straight line traction, they will flex through the corners and you may lose grip.

The factory 12" GT2 wheels fit nicely with a 7mm spacer. Might give you that extra little bit extra clearance on the inside you may need. please post up if and when you do it!

make sure you match the fronts in terms of height. mayeb go with a 245 or 255 40 18. Although thsi is not as amuch of a concern with a GT2 since there is no PSM or viscous coupling for the AWD to worry about
