I disagree with the front spoiler as a waste especially if you add the gt2 rear wing. I have the gt2 wingblade, and at speeds higher than 100, I can feel the front end lifting. I nearly lost it when I had to swerve to avoid a blown tire in front of me on the highway once as the front had so little downforce when stock with a rear wingblade, and I was only going about 80. I can imagine it's even worse with a full GT2 rear. I am looking to get some dive planes made for the front because I don't want to get the GT2 front right now to give the front some extra downforce. I was also debating switching out the gt2 wingblade but I haven't found a replacement wingblade I liked yet over it.

Yes, the cooler the air, the better! I think even a mildly tuned tt can benifit from a IC upgrade. That being said, there are limits on size. It depends on the design and usage. A few blast down the street or strip and you can get away with a smaller one because it can cool down. In road racing where they heat soak badly, i use the largest i can until the pressure drop gets to be a bit much.

The size is important but also, good airflow/ducting to the IC is equally important. If possible, i normally weld in Temp probes and data log. Without a wind tunnel, Testing for airflow gets a little more difficult. personally, i do it by trial and error and primative testing.

I love my billet K16'S. Quick spool and lots of boost. Combined with exhaust, injectors and a tune... What a huge improvement in performance. I would absolutely do it again. I will be keeping my sound deadening insulation as well. The OP and I enjoy very different rides.

Next mods I look forward to are my soon to be installed 340mm Raid steering wheel and upgraded sound system. My smile continues to grow as I dial this thing in.

How soon after the Billets and injectors did you need a new clutch?

Interesting thread.

It's all very personal, money available vs. money spent vs. expectations vs. satisfaction.

There are no right or wrong answers, just opinions as far as I'm concerned.

Any mod that does not add power, handle more power or help you use your power. Is a waste. If you take pride in making your car yours by adding wheels, bumpers, CF trim, graphics, wings, stereo, nav, tints or anythings else knock yourself out but it is a waste of your dollars if they are meant to be spent on go fast parts.
