Somebody should make this this sticky as from experience we have all been there, so here is my list;
Waste of Money
Equal Length Exhaust Headers -No personal experience
Hard Engine Mounts -Disagree
PSS9s (this will no doubt create some discussion) - Agree if you don't drive more then 8/10s ( which apply s to 99% of people - not including track guys! )
Front Lip Spoiler - Agreed, unless you drive at the track/or fast
Forge Boost valves - agreed
Fuel Pump Regulator -no experience
3" Y Pipe - no exprience
Larger Intercoolers (unless you want to go 800 Bhp) - Disagree if you track.
16K Billlet Turbos - no experience
Intake Plenum (unless you want to go 800 Bhp) - no experience
& of course the ones you need to do;
ECU Tune - Disagree
Exhaust - Agreed
Air Filter - Disagree
Gemballa steering wheel (if you have a Tip) - no expereince
Lower springs Agreed for 99% of the people
GT2 Wing - Great for track and looks so agreed.
Different wheels with 15 mm spacers - Agreed.
Carbon Seats - If you mean GT3/2 buckets, agreed.
Take out the Sound Insulation - Agreed
Techart Bodywork (personal viewpoint) - Gives it a nice touch, agreed

There you have it with my persona opinion : )
FWIW.
If I could do redo things on my car. I would wait for the flash towards the end. The flywheel, I only did it to put less stress on the motor. Other then that, I have seen no real benefit. I could heal to perfect before with a dual, I can heal toe perfect with a single. No real, difference as a drive imo.
The clutch however does grab better which is nice. The reason why I disagree with the flash is because with an exhaust you get the power the Flash gives you , plus you get noise as a bonus. With a flash vs. none flashed, you are talking about 2-3 car lengths difference between 60- 130.
I personally don't regret any of my mods. They have been all calculated to find the next weak link on the machine.
Only two mods I have bought and sold to get rid of because I saw 0 benefit - Forged DV valves / Evoms intake.

Hard Engine Mounts - no experience but they exist for a reason
PSS9s (this will no doubt create some discussion) - Great mod unless you like the look and driving feeling of a monster truck
Front Lip Spoiler - BEST MOD
Forge Boost valves - Great Mod
Fuel Pump Regulator - If needed
3" Y Pipe - agree to an extent unless the future brings bigger and better
Larger Intercoolers (unless you want to go 800 Bhp) - Great Mod
16K Billlet Turbos -AGREED
Intake Plenum (unless you want to go 800 Bhp) - Agreed
& of course the ones you need to do;
ECU Tune -agreed
Exhaust -agreed
Air Filter-agreed
Gemballa steering wheel (if you have a Tip) - WHY WOULD YOU DRIVE A TIP???
Lower springs - Coil Overs!
GT2 Wing -agreed
Different wheels with 15 mm spacers - You only really need the spacers
Carbon Seats - Would like to try some but my seats feel pretty good
Take out the Sound Insulation - For what?
Techart Bodywork (personal viewpoint) - Put the money into the performance!

Did you mean Intake plenum AND larger throttle body at your HP rating??
I also think everyone has a right to share their opinion and info,,,Just like I have to disagree with some of your listings...

Your thoughts on a tune caught my eye. I did a UMW tune on my X50 then added exhaust 1 month after and I can tell you emphatically that the tune made a huge difference in all areas of performance and the exhaust then added even more. I do not believe that adding exhaust to a stock tune would come any where close to producing the same results as a tune and exhaust together.
I had a stock exhaust, UMW tune. I dragged raced a stock tune, FVD (Gen1, which is very small piping- search info on it. not the best for flow) exhaust car. 4th gear 60 mph to 140 mph.
Every time, only 2.5 car lengths pull . That is with my car with lighter in weight, LWFW.
After I got IC and exhaust. We have not raced since. My car dyno'd right on the numbers that a flashed/exhaust car should dyno at. With a bit more on the tq side.

I'll probably get flamed and called a silly n00b for this but I don't care. I think the GT2 wing is ugly, tacky, and ricey on a non-GT2 car. I don't even like the way it looks on a real GT2 either.
Honestly, coming from many different turbo car circles, i can't believe half the stuff sold that claims to make hp. There is vertually no testing done. Seems someone will post a dyno number and then stuff starts selling. Check out a DSM or Honda forum and everything has been tested and proved a million times.
I'm not calling anyone out, just making an observation. This should be a good thread. You should add "type/design" of exhaust too. I'm very convinced there is some snake oil there.

gave me a laugh. i just now pulled out this really dirty bmc out of my cut airbox and i'm waiting for my latest new maf in the post, and well.. gotta get that paper. so, save a maf, use paper
i think oiled filters and cut airbox and are ( or should be ) at the top of any "what for?" list. just isn't worth "it".

Why would you want to add a GT2 wing to create more downforce in the rear on a car that already understeers a bunch? The GT2 rear wing is great when used in concert with a front end that creates functional downforce like a REAL GT2 front does by channeling air over the hood and not under the car as the TT front does.
Air Filter? Enough said. I have fresh BMG in the box if anyone wants one cheap. I went back to OEM and can tell zero difference.
Take out sound insulation?? On a car that is notorious for drone to begin with? Maybe the 20 lbs taken out will make the car faster....
Lowering springs with mismatched OEM shocks are a must and PSS9 are a waste? Alrighty then....
