Got the wheels put on today. Got a little distracted because I had to go help a friend move furniture so the pics outside are in low light but I'll take a few more tomorrow morning. Wheels and tires fit perfect. Might put a 5mm spacer in the rear but I have to raise the coils and set the camber correct before doing that or not. Overall they are sweet.

Well I'm about a month behind where I wanted to be but got the motor and trans out last night. Dropping the trans off today to get the lsd put in. Turbos ate going out monday to get machined. Lots of work to do on the suspension, fuel system, engine pinning, getting rid of stuff you don't need etc.
Hopefully it's tuned and on the road in 6 weeks.

Freddy, So the compressor housings need to be machined to accept those new billet wheels? What's the size of those wheels? Estimated power? What shop is doing that for you?

Yes they do. They are much larger than stock lol. 20g wheels. 52.5mm/68mm stock k16 is 40.5mm/60.5mm

I have Jim and Gerry at gpop shop machine my housing and have for hundreds of turbos I've built for myself and customers of the years. I do the rebuilding and porting myself along with come up sizes and sometimes some wheel desin myself as well.

Power goals are 700whp but the turbos could do over 800whp if the motor is built and you can higher boost pressures.

Well guys been a slow process as I've been so busy but here is an update. Turbo parts came in yesterday from machining and porting and rebuilding those today. Tires on the front have been a challenge. Had to do lots of work to make them fit with my high offset. Cutting and welding the radiator brackets, cutting and riviting went on the liners to replace the luvers and heating the modding the rear of the front liner. I finally got it working pretty well. Trans should be ready by saturday. Hopefully by money I can finish the fuel system and be ready to put the motor back in but who knows. Between work stuff, this, and helping guys with other projects I've been in the shop 15 hours a day 6 days a week and half days on sunday. Pushing to get it all ready.
Or an vivid sold me the wrong sway bars so that was awesome. On top of that I got the 350mm rotors done, wheel studs in. Poly lca bushing and solid thrust bushing done on the front. Going to try and get the poly lca bushing, solid thrust bushing, solid subframe bushings, poly toe libk bushings all done by tonight.

Well got some new eibach sway bars and got the front in along with the solid thrust bushings and that's all done.
The rest of today, I got really pissed putting in all the stuff on the rear suspension. Solid subframe bushings, solid thrust bushings, poly lca and toe link bushings. Not something I recommend anyone trying at home unless you have a lift or lots of time. Subframe bushing are a pita. It's all done now finally though.
