Thanks, it's coming along. Hopefully I csn finish up the fuel system and install the pro efi this week and be ready to put the engine and trans back in next week
Didn't get as much done as I wanted to and had a ****ty weekend working on the car. Got the intake dual pump system done and in, secondary air pump delete done, coils and plugs installed, bunch on stuff striped thay wasn't needed and my fpr and fuel sensor mount built. Got at least 100 more hours of work to do on the car, maybe more. Next 2 weeks I don't think I'm going to sleep much.
Looking good and I like the clamp in the fuel basket! What I did with a smaller pump was put a clamp around the pump body itself to wedge it in. That was a temp setup until I could get a replacement OEM pump, I like your idea much better! Nice mount for the fuel sensor and regulator too, looks good. Pressure test before putting into the car?

I did actually have to put the clamp end on the inside as yu can't get it back through the hole in the tank with them on the outside. It was a pain getting everything hooked up in the tank though. Had to make a long loop hose to have enough room to be able to connect in to the top hat and not kink the hose. All in all it works but next winter I'll probabaly pony up the cash and go to the srm setup which is much cleaner.
Ya I'll have to pressure test quite a few things upon install.
Upside now is the engine bay will be much less cluttered and easier to work on anything. Got rid of all the extra fuel lines going to the ac. No more lines for the clutch slave and plugged the holes. No more air pump and working on a vac reduction. Also no more air intake or diverter valves. Engine bay will be nice. Designed the fuel system so it's easy to take the supply and return lines off right up front if pulling the motor. Think ingot rid of about 10 lines and a few quite large component.
I'm having a few things removed too! Vac reduction sounds like a very good thing to me as does easier access for sure. I'd pressure test as many lines for leaks as possible, especially fuel. The SRM hardware is very nice, sounds like you will only need a little bit of the system too.
This weekend I didn't get as much done as I wanted but made good progress. Finished the fuel system, did the vac reduction, mounted my boost solenoid of the other air pump brackets, coolant pins, manual dipstick, and a few more things. By the end of today hopefully I have the turbos on, clutch off, and everything else on the engine don't and bolted up to the trans
nice, can't wait to see it running, shoot some videos, post them on youtube
Will do. Goal is to have it done by the weekend of the 7th for cars and coffee and the minnesota exotics cruise. Need to get a go pro to mount on the car.
I'm pretty sure you do not want to run a one way check valve in your fuel pressure reference line. It needs to see both boost and vacuum. Like the oem one.

Good catch, I didn't notice that! If that's a check valve and not a filter get it out of there, he's right!
